Project Manager – Housing Condition Surveys

We are currently expanding our project management capability in the field of housing and require a project manager with experience in housing.
With a background in housing and/or statistical analysis & reporting the ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Excellent understanding of issues pertaining to private sector housing, either through experience of working within the legislative framework or practical experience of the conduct of private or public house condition surveys.

Experience of working with survey data sets, including an understanding of survey sampling, statistical analysis, reporting and presentation of results.

Professional communication and client management with experience acting as a consultant.

Ability to act independently in the co-ordination and management of projects on behalf of a client – whilst raising risks proactively to avoid issues.

A track record of rapid project delivery.

Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Can-do attitude to project management.
Successful candidates are likely to have:
A degree or equivalent qualification (preferably in IT, Housing or Environmental Health related disciplines).

Skills in the use of Microsoft Access, SPSS or a similar analytical software package.

Due to the nature of work involved candidates are likely to have considerable experience either in the field of statistical analysis and reporting or management of housing related projects.
The role is intended to allow the candidate to grow within the division and the company. Initially assisting the Service Line Manager for housing research, the candidate will develop their skills in project managing house condition surveys (HCS) with ultimate aim of successfully running entire HCS projects. The role will also expose the candidate to a wide variety of opportunities in the housing and construction field that are constantly developing within the division.
These positions would best suit enthusiastic individuals with a desire to learn and willingness to travel, meet new clients and face new challenges. The role will be split between working from home and one of CPC's five offices nationwide, but will also involve travel to client sites nationally for short periods.
