Andrew Rogers - Senior Consultant
Andrew has a successful track record in partnership development between health and social care. With a substantial background in Public Health delivery and commissioning, he has provided vision, strategic direction and leadership for multi-agency teams and structures, international projects and within academia.
Until April 2009, Andrew was Programme Director for Public Health and Commissioning and led the Strategic Partnership for Health & Social Care and Be Healthy Thematic Partnership for a Local Strategic Partnership.
Within a PCT environment Andrew provided public health guidance and coordination to World Class Commissioning with a remit for the design of three new pathways for alcohol, respiratory disease and obesity.
Over 25 years within the NHS he has provided guidance to a range of projects and initiatives in the fields of health promotion, environment and sustainable development, sports and leisure, and community development. Andrew has worked with a number of key International Consultancies in Central and South East Europe, the Balkans and more recently the Caribbean for WHO, PAHO and the UK Department of Health.
Having a keen interest in capacity development he has developed innovative web-based Course Units in health promotion and community development at Masters level for the University of Manchester and supports teaching for a range of Masters level courses at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
