John is a qualified Civil Engineer and House Condition Surveyor. He held a role as operations manager for several years under both the former pps and now CPC. His role has involved both the financial management aspects of house condition survey contracts and all other contracts within the Housing team, as well as co-coordinating the work of survey supervisors and other consultants.

John formerly worked as a field supervisor on numerous house condition surveys before becoming operations manager. During that period, and to this day, John has been an English Housing Surveyor (EHS and formerly EHCS) with over 7 years’ experience of working on the national survey.

John has been instrumental in expanding the capacity of the division by improving the efficiency of the survey process and staff co-ordination, enabling CPC to take the largest market share of any contractor conducting house condition surveys today.

In addition to his role as Associate Director for the Housing Team. John is our Manager of Professional Development, and led the delivery of our very successful HHSRS training programmes for the IDeA.
