Lewisham PCT Estate Strategy

Project Overview
To deliver a modern NHS fit for the 21st century, buildings and equipment are required that are in the right place, in the right condition, of the right type and which will be able to respond to the future needs of the service. A well thought out estate strategy is a prerequisite. Lewisham PCT has a large estate of over 100 properties, which comprise of Health Centres, Clinics and General Practioners. Due to the changing service demands placed on the NHS by the government and public within the Borough it is necessary to analyse their existing estate to meet these new demands

CPC’s Role
While acting as consultants (Business Consulting), CPC are charged with producing the estate strategy for Lewisham PCT:
• Phase 1 (Where are we now) To collect and understanding all relevant information regarding the Lewisham estate as a whole. To report back on the condition of the estate.
• Phase 2 (Where do we want to be) To combine the PCT’s strategic objectives with the present condition of the estate with a view to improvement.
• Phase 3 (How do we get there) To formulate a strategic paper, which will be used as a guide to improving the estate according to its own strategic objects.

Client Benefits
CPC is playing a leading role in the production of an estate strategy, which will be use as a strategic guide to improve the condition of the estate and potentially lead the way (Benchmark) for neighbouring trusts. On completion of this project the team will have aided in the creation of
