Overview
From March 2005 a protocol has applied to all UK government departments, their executive agencies, non-departmental public bodies and sponsored organisations ensuring they obtain the appropriate Treasury approval to renew existing or undertake new property commitments in London and the South East.
CPC Ltd, in partnership with Pendragon Global Consulting, has developed a Relocation Management Tool which assesses the likelihood of success of business cases for undertaking new or renewing existing property commitments in London on behalf of the OGC.
This simple to use tool allows managers to get a quick overview of where they are in the relocation process. The tool ensures managers can identify where and when focus will be needed on certain skills and resources
The Tool
The tool walks the user through a process of how to
either
develop a business case to remain in London, or
the process of constructing a feasibility study to select the appropriate site for relocation.
Areas considered in the feasibility study advice are:

• IT and Telecoms
• Facilities
• Logistics.
