CPC (in partnership with Ask Sakula) have been commissioned by Caerphilly CBC to determine the feasibility, viability and sustainability of potential options for the redevelopment and use of the Bedwas Workmen’s Hall as a venue for arts in the Caerphilly Basin area. |

Housing Stock Transfer
The assignment involves project managing the housing stock transfer of some 4,300 homes, 75% of which are below the decent homes standard requiring investment of approaching £300 million over the coming 30 years. |

Third Sector Strategy Development
Our work focused on the development of “Third Sector” strategies, consistent with emerging Government thinking summarised within the White Paper, “Strong Local Leadership, Quality Public Services”.

Youth Service Health Check
We provided a health check report, followed by the support and monitoring of an improvement plan, and assistance to moderate the Council’s self-assessment prior to an Extended Youth Service inspection as part of the wider Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) and Joint Area Reviews.

Out-of-school provision mapping project
We were invited to map all out-of-school provision provided by the statutory services and departments across the authority
together with those provided by voluntary and third sector organisations, then to formulate a gap analysis against age groups, minority target groups and ECM outcomes.

Service Integration
The Council’s Adults Social Care department, the City's Central Primary Care Trust and Acute Trust were in the process of designing an integrated, multi-agency Health-Social Care rehabilitation service across the city for operational readiness in December 2005. |
