Project Overview
As part of c2c’s programme to upgrade a number of their stations, Barking Station was improved to provide more facilities for station staff and to comply with disabled access requirements. The work was completed on time and within budget by CGN Building Contractors Ltd .
CPC’s Role
CPC was contracted via BPR Architects to act as Planning Supervisors for three projects. CPC liaised with the client, designers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all CDM regulations. CPC’s duties comprise the preparation of Pre-Construction Health and Safety Plans for inclusion in the tender documentation, advising the client on the a dequacy of the Construction Phase Plan produced by the appointed contractor and the preparation of the Health and Safety File and O&M Manuals
