Project Overview
The undertaking involves the project management of the delivery of a modular building with office space for 200 people,
a sizable restaurant, back up control room
and crisis management centre. It also includes project management of the delivery of Tube Lines Technical Training Centre, a portal frame building with a mezzanine floor. The ground level will be a track and signals workshop, with classrooms on the mezzanine level.
This building will be flood wired with flexibility to turn into
an office for 400 people in a disaster recovery situation. Project delivery also takes account
of site clearance and relocation of depot users,
as well as the diversion of a sewer running across a working depot.
CPC’s Role
CPC have been commissioned on three fronts, namely project management, planning supervision and risk management.
