Momentum Programme Communications

Project Overview
TfL introduced an enterprise resource planning system, SAP, to integrate, align and simplify the HR, procurement and finance system needs of more than 18,000 staff across the TfL Group. The Momentum programme of works supports the next phase of change to manage the change effectively and to improve the end user experience. Changes include removing tedious paper based transactions, assisting with making reporting easier and providing new tools to help make tasks simpler and more efficient for employees. These changes reflect user and business needs and will improve business efficiency and management of information within TfL.

CPC’s Role
• Identify staff and stakeholder communications needs enabling effective change management; tailor key messages and communications for operational staff and senior managers
• Develop communications plans and strategies to achieve communications objectives agreed by the Working Group Communications sponsor
• Develop and implement communications tools such as surveys, intranet, targeted emails, newsletters, on line publications; facilitate staff forums, focus groups, employee seminars and workshops
• Present proposals to senior decision makers
• Publish communications outcome progress to the Working Group and stakeholders on a periodic basis/as required.
