Project Overview
The new £200m public transport infrastructure at White City, funded by the developer Westfield, will see major improvements to London Underground, London Buses, London Overground and Streets Management services. Works will deliver new Central line sidings, a new station, called Wood Lane, for the Hammersmith and City Line, a new ticket hall for the existing Shepherd's Bush (Central line) station, a new London Overground Rail station at Shepherds Bush, a new bus station to the north of the development and a new transport interchange to the south of the development.
CPC is undertaking a project management role to provide strategic communications advice and to develop an integrated marketing communications programme of activity for the transport investments.
The role is charged with helping to ensure that the investment works are viewed in a positive light, through profiling, reputation management and awareness building activities, as well as establishing and managing communication channels with key affected groups.
