Introduction
The changing nature of integrated and targeted services for young people means that local authorities, Children’s Trusts, Local Strategic Partnerships and Third Sector Youth Organisations often need support to become more effective, efficient and client-focused organisations.
How CPC can help
Our strength at CPC is in the provision of both high level specialist knowledge combined with integrated consultancy services. We have inspected , reviewed and worked with most of the agencies and services that contribute including statutory youth provision, information, advice and guidance (Connexions) Youth Offending Services, Teenage Pregnancy Units, Voluntary Sector Youth Work Providers and Community Arts and Sports organisations
We are able to:
- Review individual or combined services and support integration strategies and developments
- Undertake Myplace and similar development programmes for new or re-build youth facilities
- Work on partnership development and commissioning arrangements between sectors
- Explore transition arrangements for young people with complex disabilities or learning needs
- Undertake Strategic needs Assessments
- Work between Children and Adult services, Social Care, Health and Housing
- Help organisations and services prepare for or respond to external inspection or scrutiny

- Apply ‘Lean Thinking’ to savings issues in service functions
- Develop Benefits Profiles (Results Based Accountability)
