Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs)
"Key lines of enquiry (KLOEs) are detailed questions that help to inform [the Commission's] inspection judgements," according to the Audit Commission. KLOEs provide criteria for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of housing services, and therefore need to be understood by managers responsible for housing policy and strategy.
This course aims to give delegates an understanding of the relevant inspection process, and of the use of KLOEs to improve private sector housing services.
The course includes input from the Audit Commission and from a local authority with successful experience in working with KLOEs, St. Helens Council.
