Background
In April 2006, the Housing Act 2004 came into force. The Act has introduced a new standard for assessment of dwellings (the Housing Health and Safety Rating System or HHSRS), a new approach to HMOs by means of Licensing, and new powers for local authorities to deal with Empty Properties.
CPC is recognised as a leading provider of training in this field. Over 250 local authorities have received our training on the HHSRS and other Private Sector Housing topics. We deliver training to local authorities, RSLs, universities and other organisations.
