Open Access Terms & Conditions

  1. All bookings made for CPC Professional Development Open Access courses are subject to these Terms and Conditions, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  2. When a booking is made, the person making the booking will specify whether the booking is being made in their individual capacity, or on behalf of an organisation. This specified individual or organisation will be the Client.
  3. These Terms and Conditions describe the rights and obligations of CPC (“us”/“we”) and of the Client (“you”).
  4. Each booking is made for a certain number of delegates, as specified by you at the time of booking.
  5. A course fee per delegate is quoted in the brochure for each course. When you make a booking, you undertake to pay the full course fee.
  6. All bookings are subject to availability. If a course is already fully booked when we process your booking, we will advise you of this and you will not be liable for the course fee unless you agree to a change in the booking (such as assigning your delegates to other courses).
  7. If you cancel a booking, you will be liable to pay a fee. If you cancel 30 days or more before the date of the course, you will be liable for an administrative fee of £25. If you cancel 14 to 29 days before the date of the course, you will be liable for 50% of the course fee. If you cancel 7 to 14 days before the date of the course, you will be liable for 75% of the course fee. If you cancel less than 7 days before the date of the course, you will be liable for the full course fee.
  8. If a delegate of yours does not attend part or the entire course without cancellation, you will remain liable for the course fee for that delegate, regardless of the reason for non-attendance.
  9. Bookings are not transferable to other course dates without our written agreement.
  10. We may cancel a course and we will give you as much notice as possible if we do so. If we cancel the course, you will not be liable to pay the course fee.
  11. Each booking, and each course, will be treated independently, and cancellation of one course does not affect liability for fees for another course.
  12. Prior to the course, we will ask you for the name(s) of your delegate(s) for the course. You undertake to provide these names to us in writing at least 24 hours before the course starts. Any substitutions must be advised to us in writing before the day of the course. We reserve the right to refuse admission to delegates who are not on the course register and this will not change your liability to pay the course fee.
  13. When you make a booking, you will be asked to confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions. By confirming this, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
  14. These Terms and Conditions apply to Open Access Housing Training courses provided by CPC, where Clients book one or more places on the course. They do not apply to in-house courses arranged specifically for a client organisation. This version of the Terms & Conditions is valid from 30 July 2008, until amended.
